Viswam, the upcoming action entertainer stars Gopichand and Kavya Thapar in the lead roles, marks the return of director Sreenu Vaitla. The makers announced on Sunday that the film’s teaser will be out on September 3 at 4:05 PM. The team is confident that the film is going to be a return for vintage Sreen Vaitla comedy, whose films like Dhee (2007), Ready (2008), Dookudu (2012) were phenomenal hits at the box office.
The makers of Viswam released the first glimpse of the film in May which gave a brief glimpse into the action-packed world. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Venu Donepudi under the banners of People Media Factory and Chitralayam Studios, the film has Gopichand playing the role of an assassin. The film’s extended cast includes Jisshu Sengupta, Naresh, Sunil, Pragathi, Kick Shyam, Vtv Ganesh, Vennela Kishore, Srikanth Iyengar, Rahul Ramakrishna, Pruthvi, and Mukesh Rishi.
Viswam’s crew has cinematography by KV Guhan, editing by Amar Reddy Kudumula, and music by Chaitan Bharadwaj. The film also marks the return of the collaboration of writer Gopi Mohan and Sreenu Vaitla. The makers hinted that there is going to be a hilarious train comedy scene similar to the director’s classic outing, Venky (2004). Sreeni Vaitla’s last release was Amar Akbar Anthony (2018) starring Ravi Teja.
