The upcoming mythological epic, Kannappa stars Manchu Vishnu as the titular character who is a Shiva devotee. The makers of the film released a character poster for Arpit Ranka’s character who is one of the antagonists named, Kala Mukha. The poster has a message that Kala Mukha’s single goal is the possession of ‘Vayu Lingam’ which seems to carry a prominent role in the film. They also added, “His bloodlust leaves nothing but destruction, wiping out forests and warriors alike.”
The makers of Kannappa have been putting out character posters for all the major roles in the film. The visual epic is also set to star Mohan Lal, Prabhas, Mohan Babu, Akshay Kumar, Sarath Kumar, Kajal Agarwal and more. Akshay Kumar is playing the role of Lord Shiva and Prabhas is set to appear in a cameo of an undisclosed role.
Kannappa is helmed by director Mukesh Kumar Singh with cinematography by Seldon Chau, editing by Anthony Gonsalvez and music by Stephen Devassy. The film is said to have been mounted on a latge scale by 24 Frames Factory. The makers are planning to release the Manchu Vishnu starrer in all major pan-Indian languages in December.
