‘Bujjaama’ from KA is an old-school romantic number

Ahead of their film’s release, the makers of KA released their new single, titled ‘Bujjamaa.’ Sam CS is the music director for the upcoming thriller, which stars Kiran Abbavaram in the lead role.

Sung by Sarath Santosh, ‘Bujjaama’ is a sweet romantic number, heavy on melody and old-school and upbeat in its mood. Sanapati Bharadwaj Patrudu has penned the lyrics, which also pay homage to legendary actress Savitri’s film Missammayi, which Nayan Sarika’s character look is inspired from. Sam CS, who primarily works in Tamil cinema, has composed music for films like Demonte Colony 2, Black and Pani earlier this year. 

KA, which marks the directorial debut for Sujith-Sandeep, is produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy. The cinematography for the period thriller is co-helmed by Viswas Daniel and Sateesh Reddy Masam, while Sudheer Macharla is the production designer. Sree Varaprasad is the editor. The film also features Ajay, Saranya Pradeep and Tanvi Ram in the supporting cast. 

KA hits theatres on Thursday, October 31.
