

The makers and distributors of the Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule from all major pan-Indian markets announced on Thursday that the period gangster drama is arriving a day earlier. Initially, the film was slated for a December 6 release, but the makers decided to push it ahead to December 5. This marks good news for fans of Allu Arjun and the audiences who have been waiting for the sequel. The makers further revealed that the film is going to have overseas premieres on December 4.
There have been reports that Pushpa 2: The Rule already minted 900 crores in its pre-release business. Written and directed by Sukumar, the period gangster film also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, and Jagadeesh Pratap, among others. Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers bankrolled the much-anticipated franchise in association with Sukumar Writings. The first part was about the rise of Pushpa Raj, a Chittor-based red sandal smuggler, and the makers promise that the sequel will be more enthralling and edge of the seat.
Pushpa 2: The Rule's technical crew includes cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and music by Devi Sri Prasad, while editors Ruben and Karthika Srinivas were replaced at the last minute by National Award winner Naveen Nooli.
