The official trailer for the upcoming web series Arthamainda Arun Kumar was unveiled on Tuesday in Hyderabad. Pavan Sidhu will play the titular protagonist, replacing Harshithh Reddy, who portrayed the character in the first season of the show.
Written and directed by Aditya KV, the second season will revolve around a newer set of troubles faced by Arun Kumar as he ends up mixing his personal and professional lives, getting into a romantic relationship with a colleague while also tackling romantic overtures from one of his superiors. How he struggles to handle the arising complications that ensue forms the crux of the story.
While the new season will see Tejaswini Madiwala and Ananya reprise their toles of Shalini and Pallavi, respectively, it will also see the introduction of new characters like the chirpy intern Sonia (portrayed by Siri) and a corporate guru played by Sai Kiran. Ajay Arasada is the music director.
Jointly produced by Arré Studio and Laughing Cow Productions, Arthamainda Arun Kumar will begin streaming on Aha on October 31.
Pavan Sidhu was also recently seen in the web-series Sasimadhanam.
