
The makers of the Ramakanth starrer Samudrudu announced the release date for their film. The action-entertainer, which also stars Avantika and Bhanushree as the female leads, will hit theatres on October 25.
The film is written and directed by Nagesh Naradasi and produced by Badhavat Kishan under the banner of Keertana Productions. Veteran actor Suman will be seen playing a cop in the film. While announcing the release date, producer Badhavat Kishan stated, “Suman's character and action episode is the highlight of the movie. Telugu audience will appreciate the concept of the story.”
The trailer of the film was launched in March this year —Samudrudu revolves around the lives of a fishermen community, capturing their struggles and agony when they have to deal with the many restrictions set on their livelihood by the higher authorities.
The supporting cast of the film includes Raj Premi, Rama Raju, Shravan, Chitram Srinu, Sammeta Gandhi, Dil Ramesh, Prabhavathi, Suman Shetty, Teja Shetty, Junior Rajasekhar, and Faiza Jaan. Subhash Anand is the music director. Vasu is the cinematographer, and Nandamuri Hari is the editor. Nandu and Satish have choreographed the action sequences.
