The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre onboards pan-Indian star Rashmika Mandanna as the National Brand Ambassador. The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, also known as I4C, is an affiliate initiative of the Ministry of Home Affairs which deals with cybercrime in a coordinated and effective manner.

I4C made the announcement on their X official page with a video featuring Rashmika Mandanna, as she said, “A few months ago, a deep fake video of mine went viral on social media, which is a cybercrime. After this incident, I decided to take a stand against cybercrimes and spread awareness. I am happy to announce that in this fight, I have found the support of the Government of India.”

She further talked about how cybercriminals target people for various purposes and added, “We must not only stay alert and safe to protect ourselves from these incidents; we must also work towards preventing them. As a brand ambassador for I4C, I will strive to keep you informed about cybercrimes.”

In November 2023, a deep fake video of Rashmika Mandanna went viral, prompting strong reactions from noted figures like Amitabh Bachchan. Cybercrime arrested the culprit in January 2024. And the issue sparked widespread discussion on the topic of deep fakes and how to stay protected.

On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna is coming with Chhaava starring Vicky Kaushal and Pushpa 2 starring Allu Arjun in December.
