The makers of the Prabhas starrer Mr Perfect announced on Tuesday that the family drama is slated for a rerelease on October 22. Since the following day, October 23, marks the birthday of Prabhas, who is fondly called “Rebel Star," the production house decided to release this entertainer again. Dil Raju bankrolled the film under the label of Sri Venkateswara Creations.
Mr Perfect came out on April 22, 2011, and the film got a positive response from audiences and critics. The film is about Vicky, played effectively by Prabhas, who never compromises on his dreams and aspirations in life. His never-bow-down attitude puts him at odds with a family situation, which forces him to compromise for the first time. The plot follows how Vicky evolves and goes through a mindset change to become a family man.
K Dasaradh penned the story and directed this family entertainer, while Harikrishna and Praveen Varma provided the screenplay. The film’s music by Devi Sri Prasad was a unanimous chartbuster in 2011. Mr Perfect also stars Murali Mohan, K Vishwanath, Prakash Raj, Nassar, and Sayaji Shinde, among others.
Another Prabhas starrer, Eeswar, directed by Jayanth C Paranjee, is also gearing up for rerelease in 4K on October 23.
