Actor Ram Pothineni’s next film, to be directed by P Mahesh Babu, was announced on Saturday on the occasion of Vijayadasami. The film is touted to be a comedy-drama. Noted banner Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the film which is said to be Ram Pothineni’s 22nd feature. The team mentioned that the untitled film is going to tackle “Untold Emotions.”
The makers took to X and wrote, “A film that will take up a colossal space on Ustaad's wall of fame. RAPO22 will channel all of RaPo's energy to tell a lesser-told story. Filming untold emotions, soon.”
Director P Mahesh Babu’s last release was Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty starring Naveen Polishetty and Anushka Shetty. The comedy-drama was well received by the audiences making it successful. More details about the cast and crew are yet to be announced. The filming is said to commence from November 2024.
Ram Pothineni’s last outing was Puri Jagannadh’s Double iSmart, the sequel to iSmart Shankar (2019), which got a mixed reception from audiences and was panned by critics. Ram Pothineni was supposed to star in a film by director Harish Shankar but the project got shelved.
