Mythri Movie Makers is coming up with an experimental action drama titled 8 Vasanthalu. The makers of the film unveiled their official teaser on Saturday.
Ananthika Sanilkumar, who has worked in films like Mad and Lal Salaam, headlines 8 Vasanthalu. Ananthika plays the lead character of Shuddhi Ayodhya in the film. The 8 Vasanthalu teaser begins with a scene from a martial arts coaching centre, where a trainer is bullying one of his female students before she retaliates, warning him about the arrival of a martial arts performer who will silence all the naysayers against female athletes. The teaser then establishes Ayodhya’s character and her many facets, including her prowess as a hard-working and perseverant fighter.
Actors like Ravi Theja Duggirala, Hanu Reddy, and Kanna Pasunoori, among others, are part of the ensemble cast. 8 Vasanthalu is written and directed by Phanindra Narsetti, who has earlier made indie films like Madhuram and Manu.
Eminent music director Hesham Abdul Wahab, known for his work for films like Hi Nanna and Manamey, is the composer for 8 Vasanthalu. Cinematography and editing are by Vishwanath Reddy and Shashank Mali, respectively. Additionally, the action choreography is by Wing Chan Anji, who has previously worked for notable films like Gaami, Kaala, and Narappa.
