
Pushpa 2: The Rule headlined by Allu Arjun cleared its censor formalities on Thursday. The gangster film received U/A with the censor board dishing out a few cuts. The film’s runtime is 3 hrs 20 mins. The much-anticipated sequel finished its post-production with the makers posting a photo on social media. The film’s editor, Navin Nooli, wrote, “The wait is over world, Sukumar garu and Allu Arjun garu are ready to unleash their madness on the big screen in just a week!”
The team with Allu Arjun have been busy with massive events in many cities in India. Recently, they wrapped events at Chennai and Cochin. The makers launched the third single ‘Kissik’ from the film recently. The song already became the highest viewed south-Indian track on Youtube. Allu Arjun also launched the initial few seconds of the fourth single titled ‘Peelings’ and said that the song will have Malayalam lyrics in all the dubbed versions as his ode to the Kerala audiences.
Director Sukumar’s highly anticipated sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule also starring Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna, is gearing up for its global release on December 5. The recently unveiled trailer teases a gripping storyline, showcasing the escalating rivalry between Pushpa and Fahadh Faasil’s Shikhawat, while also capturing tender moments with Srivalli, portrayed by Rashmika Mandanna.
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner, in association with Sukumar Writings, this sequel builds on the phenomenal success of the 2019 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. The ensemble cast includes notable actors such as Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, and Jagadeesh Pratap, adding depth to the narrative. On the technical front, Pushpa 2 has cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and music by Devi Sri Prasad.
