As the release date of Pushpa 2: The Rule nears, the film’s team is deep into promotions. Rashmika Mandanna, who plays Srivalli, recently took to Instagram to share an emotional note marking the end of her journey with the film. Pushpa 2: The Rule, known for its delayed release from August to December, has now completed filming. The makers recently released a celebratory video featuring Allu Arjun and Sukumar announcing, “Pack up!”
Starting with "Dear Diary," Rashmika reflected on the significance of the day. “Out of the 7/8 years of my career, the last 5 years being on this set almost made this set my home in the industry,” she wrote. She described a rush of emotions, feeling “tired, exhausted, but at the same time so grateful” as memories of intense hard work flooded back.
Rashmika also gave a hint about the potential third installment in the Pushpa franchise. “Of course, there’s still so much work left and apparently there’s a part 3,” she teased. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to co-star Allu Arjun, director Sukumar, and the entire team.
Directed by Sukumar, the sequel features an ensemble cast including Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, and Rao Ramesh. With a trailer promising a larger-than-life experience, the film follows the rise of Pushpa Raj, a red sandalwood smuggler, and vows to deliver edge-of-the-seat thrills. The film’s technical crew has cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and editor Naveen Nooli, with music by Devi Sri Prasad. Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to hit the screens on December 5.
