Amidst the speculations about the wedding of his elder son Naga Chaitanya, Nagarjuna shared on Tuesday the news of his younger son Akhil Akkineni’s engagement. Akhil, who is also an actor, got engaged to Zainab Ravdjee, the daughter of Zulfi Ravdjee.
The engagement ceremony took place in an intimate gathering with close family members. The Manmadhudu actor posted on his X page, “We are thrilled to announce the engagement of our son, Akhil, to our daughter-in-law to be Zainab Ravdjee! We couldn't be happier to welcome Zainab into our family. Please join us to congratulate the young couple and wish them a lifetime filled with love, joy, and your countless blessings.”
In a separate press statement, the actor said, “As a father, it brings me immense joy to see Akhil take this significant step in his life with Zainab, someone who complements him beautifully. Zainab's grace, warmth, and artistic spirit have truly made her a wonderful addition to our family."
Akhil, who is the son of Nagarjuna and Amala, has worked in films like Mr Majnu and Agent. Zainab Ravdjee is an accomplished artist who has spent her life between India, Dubai and London.
Meanwhile, the Akkineni family is yet to officially announce the wedding date for Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala.
