
Pushpa 2: The Rule is a few days away from release, and the makers unveiled a video on set declaring that the shoot is done. The video features Allu Arjun and the director of the film, Sukumar, saying, “Pack up!” The film has been notoriously delayed. Initially scheduled for an August 15 release, the film was pushed to December due to shoot commitments. The makers are doing the all-India special event tour, with the next big event to be held at Kolkata. The period gangster film is storming the screens on December 5. The makers released the third single, 'Kissik,' yesterday in Chennai.
Written and directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, and Jagadeesh Pratap, among others. Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers bankrolled the much-anticipated franchise in association with Sukumar Writings. The first part was about the rise of Pushpa Raj, a Chittor-based red sandal smuggler, and the makers promise that the sequel will be more enthralling and edge-of-the-seat. The makers unveiled the trailer for the second part recently, which shows a glimpse into the large scale of the world.
Pushpa 2: The Rule's technical crew includes cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and editing by National award winner Naveen Nooli. The fim has music by Devi Sri Prasad, with additional score by SS Thaman and other musicians.
