The buzz surrounding the Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule intensified with the release of its third single, ‘Kissik’, a smooth racy track. The team launched the song in a grand event at Chennai on Sunday. Composed by Devi Sri Prasad, the song features Allu Arjun and Sree Leela. Oscar winner Chandrabose has penned the catchy lines for the song, while Subhalakshmi lent her vocals to it. The makers released the track and wrote, “From today, wherever you go, it will be kiss, kiss, kissik!”
Director Sukumar’s ambitious sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna, is set to hit screens worldwide on December 5. The recently launched trailer offers glimpses of the intense narrative, highlighting Pushpa’s fierce rivalry with Fahadh Faasil’s Shikhawat and tender moments with Srivalli, played by Rashmika Mandanna. One striking dialogue from the trailer reads, “Pushpa is not national, he is international”
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers, in collaboration with Sukumar Writings, the film is a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. The film’s ensemble cast includes Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, and Jagadeesh Pratap.
Pushpa 2’s technical crew has cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and National Award-winning editor Naveen Nooli. Alongside Devi Sri Prasad’s music, the background score also features contributions from SS Thaman, Ajaneesh Loknath, and Sam CS.
