The makers of Venkatesh Daggubati starrer Sankranthiki Vasthunam released a quirky video featuring the film’s music composer Bheems Cecirolero, lyricist Bhaskara Bhatla and the director Anil Ravipudi. The trio discuss about the film’s first single and which singer to go with. They arrive at the iconic combination of singer Ramana Gogula and Venkatesh Daggubati’s classic hits. The makers announce that Ramana Gogula, a yesteryear singer who lent voice for Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh and scored numerous hits in the early 2000s, is returning to lend vocals to the upcoming first single from Sankranthiki Vasthunam

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film is confirmed to join the Sankranthi release race. The team also recently announced that 90% of the shoot is finished with dubbing being wrapped up. Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Sankrathiki Vasthunam is billed as a crime comedy. Interestingly, the comedy is clashing with Dil Raju’s another release Game Changer starring Ram Charan.

Sankrathiki Vasthunam also stars Meenaakshi Chaudhary as Venkatesh's ex-girlfriend, and Aishwarya Rajesh as his wife. Upendra Limaye, and Rajendra Prasad are also part of the cast. Bheems Ceciroleo composed the music, Sameer Reddy cranked the cinematography, while AS Prakash took care of production design.
