The makers of Devaki Nandana Vasudeva unveiled the film’s trailer on Tuesday. The film revolves around Ashok Galla’s character, who is the nephew of a powerful antagonist played by Devdatta Gajanan. The antagonist gets a prophecy, similar to Krishna’s birth story, that his nephew will pose a threat to his life. The film seems to blend mythology in a masala potboiler akin to its writer Prasanth Varma’s previous blockbuster HanuMan. The trailer also hints at a scene featuring deity Krishna coming alive. The film stars Manasa Varanasi in the lead role.
Devaki Nandana Vasudeva has a story by Prasanth Varma and dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra. The actioner is helmed by director Arjun Jandyala. The film is produced by Sominenj Balakrishna under the banner of Lalithambika Productions.
Devaki Nandana Vasudeva’s technical crew has cinematography by Prasad Murella and Rasool Ellore, editing is handled by Tammiraju, and art direction by GM Shekher. Bheems Ceciroleo scored music for the intense film. The action thriller is coming to the big screens on November 22, clashing with Vishwak Sen starrer Mechanic Rocky and Satya Dev’s Zebra.
