In a grand teaser launch that had fans buzzing with excitement, the makers of Game Changer, the highly anticipated political thriller starring Ram Charan, unveiled the film’s teaser at Pratibha Theatre in Lucknow. The event opened with screenings of the teaser in both Hindi and Telugu, capturing the excitement and energy of fans across linguistic borders.

Ram Charan, when asked about his character’s unpredictable nature as showcased in the teaser, said, “The role is such that even I, as the actor, don’t know what he’ll do next.” Charan, known for his memorable role in RRR, expressed his gratitude to the people of Uttar Pradesh for their warm reception of that film, remarking, “The heart of the UP people is as big as this city of Lucknow.”

Actress Kiara Advani, who plays the lead role opposite Ram Charan in Game Changer, shared her joy at returning to Uttar Pradesh, reminiscing about the time when director Shankar first narrated the script to her three years ago while she was filming in the state. “It feels surreal to be here again,” Advani reflected and said, “I feel fortunate to be a part of this grand project.”

SJ Suryah, playing a crucial role in the film, shared, "I am still an emerging actor in North India, and I seek your love and support,” he said, drawing cheers from the crowd. He promised audiences a “kick-ass project” this Sankranti, as he humorously dubbed the festival "Shankar-anti,” praising the acclaimed director.

Anjali, also starring in the film, noted, “I chose to be a part of Game Changer mainly for Ram Charan and Shankar sir. The love we’re receiving from fans across India is overwhelming.”

Set to release on January 10 in multiple languages, Game Changer is one of most highly anticipated films in 2025.

Following the success of RRR, Ram Charan has become a prominent figure across India and internationally. The team behind Game Changer, produced under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, is keen to tap into this widespread popularity by organising dedicated promotions in the North Indian market. In addition to the Lucknow launch, the teaser will also be screened in select theatres in the Telugu states, ensuring fans across regions get a first look at the film.

Game Changer is directed by Shankar, marking his debut in Telugu cinema for the first time in a 32-year-long career. The film, described as a political thriller, features a story by acclaimed writer Karthik Subbaraj. The film’s technical crew has music composer Thaman S, cinematographer Tirru, and editor Shameed Muhammed. The extended cast includes Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Jayaram, Anjali, and Naveen Chandra.
