Director Venu Yeldandi, who gained reputation with his debut Balagam, launched Keshava Chandra Ramavath and announced the release date to be November 22. Actor Rakesh, popularly known as “Jabardasth Rakesh," is making his debut with the rural drama. Rakesh is also the writer and producer for the film. The film gained attention recently for its quirky title, KCR, a reference to the ex-chief minister of Telangana. When asked about the title, Rakesh recently said, "Why shouldn't we pay tribute to KCR? I love him. We are inspired by his journey. This is my respect towards him."
The makers recently unveiled Keshava Chandra Ramavath’s trailer, which is about two childhood friends who grow up together in a village. Running away from marriage, Rakesh’s character moves to city to start a fresh life. But his life in Hyderabad turns more perilous than a cakewalk. His journey of self-realisation about his roots makes up the plot.
Keshava Chandra Ramavath has Anji, who cranked the camera while Charan Arjun composed music, and Madhu took care of editing.
