Thandel’s release date to be announced tomorrow

Thandel, the Naga Chaitanya-Sai Pallavi starrer romantic drama, has been a long time in the production stage. While the first glimpse of the film was released months ago, in January this year, the makers never announced a release plan. On Monday, however, the makers shared that they would be announcing the release date for the film on Tuesday, November 5.

Thandel is being directed by Chandoo Mondeti, who is popular for his 2022 film Kartikeya 2, which recently bagged the National Award for Best Telugu feature film. The filming for Thandel began in December last year. The film is reportedly inspired by a set of real-life events that took place in the late 2010s.

Devi Sri Prasad is the music director for the film. The cinematography and production design for the lavish action-drama are helmed by Shamdat and Srinagendra Tangala. Navin Nooli is in charge of editing. Thandel is being produced by Allu Aravind and Bunny Vasu under the Geetha Arts banner.

Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi had earlier famously worked together in the 2021 Sekhar Kammula directorial Love Story.
