Andrew Garfield is in talks to star in Luca Guadagnino's After the Hunt

Earlier, we reported that actor Julia Roberts would headline acclaimed filmmaker Luca Guadagnino's next directorial venture, After the Hunt. It has now been learned that actor Andrew Garfield is in the talks to star opposite Roberts in the film. 

Hailing from Amazon MGM Studios, After the Hunt has a screenplay penned by Nora Garrett. Guadagnino also produces the film with Brian Grazer and Mandelbaum of Imagine Entertainment.

After the Hunt is about a college professor who has to make a difficult decision when a former top-performing student accuses one of her colleagues of wrongdoing while a dark secret from her own past threatens to come to light.

Meanwhile, Garfield, who was last seen in the FX series Under the Banner of Heaven, has a slew of films in the pipeline, including We Live In Time opposite Florence Pugh, Voyagers co- starring Daisy Edgar- jones, and Magic Faraway Tree along with Claire Foy. It is worth mentioning that rumours are rife that the actor is part of Martin Scorsese's Life of Jesus.
