Voice Artist Swetha PVS set to make her directorial debut

Big Ben Cinemas, the production banner behind films like Pelli Choopulu (2016), Dear Comrade (2018),  Dorasani (2019) and more recently, Annapurna Photo Studio, has announced their company’s seventh film. Titled Amma, the film will be helmed by Swetha PVS, a former radio jockey, voice artist and social media personality. Swetha, best known for providing her voice to actor Krithi Shetty, will be making her directorial debut with Amma. The film’s title was aptly announced on Sunday, on the occasion of Mother’s Day.

The announcement also came with a poster, which has the photo of a caged bird superimposed on the silhouette of a mother. Amma is billed as an ‘emotional thriller dedicated to all mothers and their sacrifices.’ Swetha also happens to be the seventh debutant filmmaker to be launched by Big Ben Cinemas, after Tharun Bhascker (Pelli Choopulu), Bharat Kamma (Dear Comrade), KVR Mahendra (Dorasani), Sanjeev Reddy (ABCD Telugu), Praneeth B (Bhaag Saale) and Chendu Muddu (Annapurna Photo Studio). More details of the film will be announced soon.
