Aay makers release character teaser for Ankith Koyya

The makers of upcoming film Aay released a character teaser for its male lead Narne Nithiin. Aay is produced by Bunny Vas and Vidya Koppineedi under the GA2 Pictures banner.

The teaser introduces Nithiin as Hari, a young man from heartland, who is frustrated with the authoritarian nature of his society, including everyone from police officers to parent figures, where youngsters are forced to seek permissions and approval for every trivial matter in their life.

The film's ensemble cast includes Nayan Sarika and Rajkumar Kasireddy among others. This is the 9th production for the banner GA2 Pictures that has earlier produced popular films like Bhale Bhale Magadivoy (2015), Geetha Govindam (2018), and Most Eligible Bachelor (2021).

Aay marks the directorial debut for Anji K Maniputhra. Rama Naresh Nunna, meanwhile, has been credited as the co-director. Ram Miriyala is the music director of the film. Art direction is by Kiran Kumar Manne while cinematography is by Sameer Kalyani.

The first look of Aay was unveiled earlier in March. The makers are reportedly planning to release the film in June, although there is no official confirmation yet.
