Ahead of their film’s release, the makers of Pratinidhi 2 completed their censorship formalities. The Nara Rohith starrer political drama has been given a U/A certificate by the censor board.
The film’s official trailer was released on April 19. Pratinidhi 2 promises to tell the story of a commonplace journalist (Rohith) who decides to stand up against the underbelly of a political nexus after becoming a household name for a confrontational interview with a leading politician, which goes viral.
Pratinidhi 2 marks the on-screen comeback for Nara Rohith, who was last seen in the 2018 film Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu. The film’s supporting cast includes names like Jisshu Sengupta, Siri Lella, Sachin Khedekar, Tanikella Bharani, and Dinesh Tej, among others.
The film is directed by Murthy Devagupthapu, and jointly produced by Kumar Raza Bathula, Anjaneyulu Sri Thota, and Surendra Nath Bollineni. Pratinidhi 2 was earlier scheduled to release on April 25. However, the makers announced a few days ago their decision to postpone the release to May 10.
