Aarambham Trailer: Sci-fi meets jailbreak drama in this literary adaption with a twist

The official trailer of Aarambham was unveiled on Wednesday afternoon. The film is a sci-fi thriller centred around a jailbreak. The film stars Mohan Bhagat, Supritha Sathyanarayan, Bhooshan, Ravindra Vijay, Laxman Meesala, Boddepalli Abhishek and Surabhi Prabhavathi. Aarambham is written and directed by Ajay Nag V, a cinematographer-turned-director. Having previously worked as a cinematographer for films like Vindhu Bhojanam (2022) and The Great Indian Suicide (2023), Ajay will be making his directorial debut with Aarambham.

The film is an adaptation of the Kannada novel Neenu Ninnolage Khaidi, written by Anush A Shetty. The trailer of the film opens with the news of a jailbreak. What is surprising about this incident is that there are virtually no signs of an escape, nor is there any evidence proving that the jailee had fled the jail. The backstory of this jailee in question, as well as the people trying to get to the bottom of this mystery, forms the crux of the story. The trailer also introduces us to a scientist, hinting at the possible use of his skills to a jailbreak.

Aarambham is produced by Abhishek V Thirumalesh under the banner AVT Entertainment. The music of the film has been composed by Sinjith Yerramilli, with cinematography by Devdeep Gandhi Kundu and editing by Aditya Tiwari and Preetham Gayathri.

The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 10.
