Jaragandi, the first single of Ram Charan's Game Changer, out

‘Jaragandi,’ the much-awaited first single from the Ram Charan-starrer Game Changer, was released on Wednesday morning. Game Changer, also starring Kiara Advani, is directed by S Shankar. 

‘Jaragandi’ is an upbeat and catchy number with a rustic melody and thumping beats. Daler Mehndi and Sunidhi have provided their energetic vocals for the song, based on a composition by Thaman S and lyrics by Anantha Sriram. Thomas recently also composed the soundtrack for Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram.

Additionally, the Game Changer makers have released the Hindi and Tamil versions of the song. While Daler Mehndi is the male playback singer for both of these versions, Pooja Venkat and Sahiti Chaganti have lent their voices for the Tamil and Hindi versions, respectively. The ‘Jaragandi’ music video has garnered over 2 million YouTube hits within 6 hours of its release, all versions combined.

Prabhu Deva has choreographed the ‘Jaragandi’ song sequence, which boasts a colourful and opulent production design and hundreds of background dancers, adding to the song’s energy. The cinematography is by S Thirunavukkarasu, while Sabu Cyril is the production designer.
