Emraan Hashmi is Omi Bhau in OG

The first look of Emraan Hashmi from OG was unveiled on Sunday, on occasion of the actor’s birthday. The actor will be playing a character named Omi Bhau. The first look announcement reads, “Happy Birthday deadliest Omi Bhau. Couldn’t imagine a clash more electrifying than with OG.” 

Emraan Hashmi will be making his Telugu debut in the Pawan Kalyan-starrer. He will also be playing the antagonist in G2, the sequel of the espionage entertainer Goodachari (2018). G2 stars Adivi Sesh and Banita Sandhu in the lead roles. Emraan Hashmi was recently seen in the Hotstar Original web series Showtime and the Prime Video Original film Ae Watan Mere Watan. The latter saw him portray the late veteran political leader Ram Manohar Lohia in this independence-era biopic.

OG is written and directed by Sujeeth. DVV Danayya is producing the film under his banner DVV Entertainments. Thaman is composing the film's music, with cinematography by Ravi K Chandran, editing by Navin Nooli and production design by AS Prakash.
