The makers of Bharathanatyam, an upcoming comedy thriller, released their official trailer on Saturday. The film marks the debut of actor Surya Tej Aelay.
Going by the trailer, Bharathanatyam revolves around an ambitious filmmaker (Surya) who has been unlucky in his career and love life. In his desperate attempt to make a film, the protagonist gets embroiled in the underbelly nexus of crime, politics and moviemaking. The film also stars Harsha Chemudu, who plays an aspirant actor and the protagonist’s confidant.
The film’s male lead Surya Tej has penned the story and co-wrote the screenplay and dialogues with director KVR Mahendra.
Minakshi Goswami is the female lead opposite Surya Tej. The supporting cast of Bharathanatyam includes names like Ajay Gosh, Temper Vamshi, Gangavva, Sivannarayana, Santhosh Balakrishna, Krishna Alluri, Naga Mahesh, and Manik Reddy. Vivek Sagar has composed the music for the film.
Produced by Payal Saraf, Bharathanatyam is slated for a theatrical release on April 5, clashing against Vijay Deverakonda-Mrunal Thakur starrer Family Star.
