NTR Jr travels to Goa for Devara shoot

NTR Jr flew down to Goa on Monday, to shoot for the next schedule of his upcoming film Devara. The action-drama also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in prominent roles.

The Goa shoot, which commences on Tuesday, is reportedly a 7-day schedule and also includes a song video shoot. Reportedly, Saif Ali Khan too will join the shoot later this week. It is to be noted that the earlier Devara schedules were wrapped up in Hyderabad.

Devara is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, and presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. The film marks NTR Jr’s second collaboration with director Koratala Siva after the 2016  film Janatha Garage. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and the cinematography is by R Rathnavelu.

The makers of Devara have planned a two-part release for their film. The Devara: part 1 teaser, which was unveiled on January 5, has garnered over 58 million YouTube hits to date.

A few weeks ago, the makers announced their decision to postpone the release of the first part. Earlier slated to hit the theatres on April 5, Devara: part 1 is now slated for a pan-India release on October 10, coinciding with the Dussehra weekend.
