Ee Rojullo to re-release soon

Ee Rojullu, Maruthi’s debut film as a director, is the latest feature to join the re-release bandwagon. The makers of the film have announced that they will be releasing the film again on March 23. The statement reads as follows, “Prepare yourself for a true nostalgic as we bring it back to the big screens. Grand re-release of Ee Rojullo in theatres on March 23.” It may be noted that the film, which came out in 2012, will be turning 12 this year, thus making the re-release a commemoration event. 

Ee Rojullu is a romantic drama starring Srinivas, Reshma and Saikumar Pampana. The film, made on a shoestring budget of ₹54 lakhs, went on to rake an approx of ₹12 crore in the box office, making the film one of 2012’s biggest hits. The film also starred Bhargavi, Ambati Srinivas, MS Narayana, Madhumani, Kedar Shankara, Ragini and Anandhi in supporting roles. The film has music by Jeevan Babu, with cinematography and edited done by J Prabhakar Reddy and SB Uddhav respectively. 

Maruthi’s upcoming film The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas and Malavika Mohanan (in her Telugu debut), will be releasing in late 2024.
