Meenakshi Chaudhary’s character poster from Lucky Baskhar out

The makers of the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Lucky Baskhar unveiled the character poster for their film’s female lead Meenakshi Chaudhary on Tuesday, on the occasion of the actress' birthday. Meenakshi plays a character named Sumathi in the upcoming period drama.

The first look of Lucky Baskhar was unveiled a few weeks ago. Lucky Baskhar is set in the Bombay of the 1980s, with Dulquer Salmaan playing an ordinary cashier in the film.

The film was officially announced in July last year, with the shoot commencing two months later in September. The film is written and directed by Venky Atluri, who last directed the Dhanush-starrer Vaathi (2023). Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are jointly bankrolling the project under the banners Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.

Meanwhile, Meenakshi has already appeared in two movies this year so far: Mahesh Babu-starrer Guntur Kaaram and Singapore Saloon. Her other upcoming projects include Matka and the Vijay-starrer The Greatest Of All Time.

GV Prakash is the music director for Lucky Baskhar, Nimish Ravi is the cinematographer of the film, editing is by Navin Nooli, and Production design is by Vinesh Banglan.
