The teaser of Family Star will be out on March 4. The makers of the film announced the teaser release date on Saturday. Family Star is written and directed by Parsuram Petla and stars Vijay Devarakonda and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. While Vijay was last seen in Kushi, Mrunal starred opposite Nani in Hi Nanna, which came out in late 2023.
Vijay and Parsuram have previously worked together in Geetha Govindam (2018), which also starred Rashmika Mandanna. Rashmika will be making a special appearance in Family Star. Parsuram has last directed the Mahesh Babu starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata in 2022. Family Star is scheduled to hit theatres on April 5.
The makers of the film have recently unveiled the film's first single 'Nandanandanaa'. Gopi Sundar, who has also composed the music of Geetha Govindam, has served as the music director of Family Star.
Family Star is produced by Dil Raju under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. KU Mohanan is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by Marthand K Venkatesh and production design by AS Prakash.
