Tamannaah Bhatia begins shooting for Odela 2 in Varanasi 

Writer-filmmaker Sampath Nandi, who last directed the 2021 film Seetimarr, is now coming up with his next film as a writer, titled Odela 2. Ashok Teja is the director of the upcoming supernatural thriller, while Sampath Nandi is credited as the creator of the project. Odela 2 stars Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead role. 

Odela 2 went on floors on Friday, after the makers officially launched their film with a muhurtham pooja ceremony in Varanasi. Taking to his social media page, Sampath shared a few pictures from the first day of the shoot with Tamannaah. In a separate post earlier today, Sampath shared the film’s official poster along with the caption, “A Supernatural Thriller Killer Promised!” The Odela 2 team is scheduled to shoot a long schedule on the ghats of the river Ganga. 

Odela 2 is an official sequel to the 2022 OTT film Odela Railway Station, on which Sampath had worked as a writer. The film is produced by D. Madhu.

The film’s supporting cast includes actors like Hebah Patel, Vasishta N Simha, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamshi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Bhupal, and Pooja Reddy. B. Ajaneesh Loknath is the music composer for the film while Soundar Rajan S is the cinematographer.

Meanwhile, Tamannaah Bhatia was last seen in the Malayalam movie Bandra.
