Shivam Bhaje ‘first cut’ teaser: Ashwin Babu plays a commoner in a spiritual  battle

The makers of the Ashwin Babu-starrer Shivam Bhaje released a ‘first cut’ teaser on Wednesday. The upcoming film is being directed by Apsar, who made his filmmaking debut two years ago with Gandharwa (2022).

By the looks of its trailer, Shivam Bhaje promises to tell the story of a common man who learns that he has spiritual powers and unwittingly ends up being the beacon of light and justice in a crime-ridden world. The first look of the film was unveiled in May.

The film’s supporting cast includes prominent names like Murali Sharma, Digangana Suryavanshi, Arbaaz Khan, Hyper Aadi, Brahmaji, and Shakalaka Shankar, among others. The editing is by Chota K Prasad, and production design is by Sahi Suresh. Vikas Badisa is the music director. Dasaradhi Shivendra is helming the cinematography.

Maheswara Reddy Mooli is the producer for the film, bankrolling the project under the Ganga Entertainments banner. Shivam Bhaje marks the first production for the banner. Although he did not confirm the release date, producer Maheswara Reddy mentioned on the occasion that they are aiming to release Shivam Bhaje in July.

Ashwin Babu was last seen in the 2023 film Hidimbha.
