Pushpa 2: The Rule gets a new release date

The production banner of Pushpa : The Rule, Mythri Movie Makers, has announced the release date for the film. The sequel to Pushpa: The Rise will release in theatres worldwide on December 6, instead of the earlier announced August 15. Announcing the release date on X, Mythri Movie Makers captioned the post, "His rule will be phenomenal. His rule will be unprecedented." The producer also shared a poster of Allu Arjun from the film, where the actor gives an intense pose, clad in a jacket and holding a sword.

Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar produced the film under their banner Mythri Movie Makers. Starring Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles, the sequel is written and directed by Sukumar Bandreddi.

Pushpa: The Rise is about a labourer who rises in the ranks of a red sandalwood smuggling ring, making enemies and finding love along the way. Its sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule also stars Rashmika Mandanna in a role, reprising Srivalli from the first film, Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Ajay Ghosh. The Pushpa sequel has music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Miroslaw Brozek, and editing by Navin Nooli.
