Madhavapeddi Suresh’s grandson to make his acting debut with Nimmakooru Mastaru

The film also stars acting veteran Rajendra Prasad in a prominent role

Shyam Selvan, the grandson of notable music director Madhavapeddi Suresh, will be making his debut with the upcoming film Nimmakooru Mastaru. The makers of the film, which features acting veteran Rajendra Prasad in the titular role, officially launched the project on Sunday.

The launch ceremony was held at Annapurna Studios, where Telangana transport minister Ponnam Prabhakar gave the clap for the muhurtham shot. JM Pradeep Reddy serves as the producer, bankrolling the film under JM Cine Factory banner, while Amudeshwar is the writer-director for the film. Amudeshwar has earlier worked in Tamil cinema and made his directorial debut with the 2016 film Meen Kuzhambum Mann Paanaiyum. JC Ravikumar and Darla Nani have been credited as co-directors. AD Karun is the cinematographer for the film, and AR Shivaraj is the editor. 

While Suresh himself is composing music for his grandson’s debut film, notable poet and lyricist Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao has penned the lyrics. At the press conference, Jonnivithula stated that the music will play an important role in Nimmakooru Mastaru and has chances of winning major awards for its music. 

The makers of Nimmakooru Mastaru also stated that they are planning to begin the shoot on June 25.
