Ram Pothineni's Double ISMART gets a release date

Actor Ram Pothineni's actioner with Puri Jagannadh, Double ISMART, sequel to the 2019 film iSmart Shankar, has got its release date.

Makers have announced that they wouldd release their film on August 15, eyeing an extended weekend owing to the Independence Day holiday.

This decision is believed to have been taken as Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 has moved from the August 15 slot.

Double ISMART is an official sequel to the 2019 film iSmart Shankar, which too starred Ram Pothineni in the lead role. Puri Jagannadh has written and directed the action entertainer, also co-producing the film with Charmme Kaur. The ensemble cast of the film comprises Kavya Thapar, Bani J, Ali, Getup Sreenu, Sayaji Shinde, Makrand Deshpande, and Temper Vamsi.

Mani Sharma is the music composer for the film. The cinematography is co-helmed by Sam K Naidu and Gianni Giannelli. Karthika Sreenivas R is the editor.
