Jr NTR and Jahnvi Kapoor's Devara gets a new release date

Jr NTR's much-anticipated film Devara now has a new release date. Billed as an action-heavy mass entertainer, the film which was earlier scheduled to be released on October 10, will hit theatres on September 27.

The film, written and directed by Koratala Siva, is set against the coastal lands.

Devara, also referred to as Devara Part 1, also stars Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko in supporting roles. Devara marks the Telugu cinema debuts of Saif and Janhvi.

The film is produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Sudhakar Mikkileni and Kosaraju Harikrishna under the Yuvasudha Arts banner. Devara marks Jr NTR's reunion with the Koratala Siva after the blockbuster success of Janatha Garage.

The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Rathnavelu is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by A Sreekar Prasad and production design by Sabu Cyril.
