The makers of the Payal Rajput starrer Rakshana released the film’s title track on Monday. Directed by Prandeep Thakore, Rakshana is slated for a theatrical release on June 7.

The Rakshana title song, rendered by Sai Charan, is a groovy composition with a heavy beat. The song is an ode to the power of the police force and underlines the role the police play in creating a safer and better society.  While Mahati Sagar is the music director for Rakshana, the title song has been composed by guest composer Naresh Kumaran. Naresh has also provided additional vocals along with Vaibhav Tandri. The lyrics are by Vanamaali. The song is also picturised in a very stylised manner.

The ensemble cast of Rakshana includes actors like Roshan, Rajiv Kanakala, Manas, and Shivan Narayana, among others. The film is produced under the banner Haripriya Creations. Anil Bandari is the cinematographer and Garry BH is the editor. Thayanidhy Sivakumar has penned the screenplay and dialogue for the film.

Besides Rakshana, June 7 will see the release of another female cop-driven film, Satyabhama, which stars Kajal Aggarwal in the lead role.
