‘Kya Lafda’ from Double iSmart is an eclectic love song

Ram Pothineni-Kavya Thapar starrer Double iSmart is slated for a theatrical release on August 15. The makers of the film released their third single on Monday.

Composed by Mani Sharma, ‘Kya Lafda’ is an eclectic love song, with multiple musical influences, including jazz rock, acoustic blues and a rustic percussion section. Dhanunjay Seepana and Sindhuja Sreenivasan are the playback singers, and  Sri Harsha Emani has penned the lyrics. Shobi Master is the choreographer. 

Double iSmart is an official sequel to the 2019 film iSmart Shankar. Besides Ram and Kavya, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt in a significant role. Puri Jagannadh, who is directing the upcoming action entertainer, is also producing the film in association with Charmme Kaur under the banner Puri Connects. Karthika Sreenivas R is the editor, while cinematography is co-helmed by Sam K Naidu and Gianni Giannelli.

Upon its release, Double iSmart will clash at the boxoffice against films like Aay, Mr Bachchan and 35.
