Committee Korrullu Trailer: A few young men decide to restore social order in their village

Niharika Konidela is making her feature film production debut with the upcoming film Committee Kurrollu. The official trailer for the film was released on Friday at a grand ceremony, attended by Siddhu Jonnalagadda, among others.

Committee Kurrollu is set against a rural backdrop, and the trailer begins with the visuals of a temple fair that’s considered sacred among all villagers. The film revolves around a bunch of young boys and their friendship, and how the same is tested once they begin to pursue higher education in life, which brings out the differences in their ambitions. Their internal conflict, however, ends up shaking the social order of the entire village, bringing out the underlying hierarchy of their class and caste-system. Now, the boys are compelled to undertake the responsibility of organising the next temple fair and restore order in their village. 

The primary cast of Committee Kurrollu comprises newcomers such as Sandeep Saroj, Yashwanth Pendyala, Eshwar Rachiraju, Trinath Varma, Raadhya, Tejaswi Rao, Teena Sravya, Vishika, and Shanmukhi Nagumanthri, among others. Additionally, the film’s ensemble cast includes names like Sai Kumar, Goparaju Ramana, Balagam Jayaram, Sri Lakhsmi, Kancherapalem Kishore, Kittayya, Ramana Bhargav, and Jabardasth Sathipandu. Writers Venkata Subhash Cheerla and Kondal Rao Addagalla have penned the dialogues for the film, with Anwar Ali as the editor and Anudeep Dev as the music director. 

The film is being jointly bankrolled under the banners of Pink Elephant Pictures and Shree Radha Damodar Studios, with Padmaja Konidela and Jayalakshmi Adapaka serving as producers. Written and directed by debutant Yadhu Vamsi, Committee Kurrullo is set to hit theatres on August 9.
