Second single of Mr Bachchan to be out on this date

The recently released first single of the Ravi Teja-Bhagyashri Borse starrer Mr Bachchan, titled ‘Sitar Song’ has attained great popularity, garnering over 8.4 million Youtube hits so far. Now, the makers are ready to release the second single from the film. The song, titled ‘Reppal Dappul,’ will be unveiled on Thursday, July 25.

The upcoming single is sung by Mangli and Anurag Kulkarni, with lyrics by Kasarla Shyam. The makers also released a song poster while making the announcement. The ‘Reppal Dappul’ song poster features Ravi Teja wearing a colourful and flashy shirt and pant, replete with bright yellow sneakers.

Mickey J Meyer is the music director for Mr Bachchan. The upcoming film marks his third collaboration with director Harish Shankar, after Subramanyam For Sale (2015) and Gaddalakonda Ganesh (2019). 

The film also stars Jagapathi Babu and Sachin Khedekar in prominent roles. Ayananka Bose will handle the camera, while Ujwal Kulkarni will be the editor.

The makers of Mr Bachchan, which is an action drama set against a 1970s backdrop, released a showreel teaser in June, giving a glimpse of the film’s highly stylised look and feel. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner People Media Factory, Mr Bachchan will clash at the box office with the Ram Pothineni starrer Double iSmart and the Nivetha Thomas starrer 35 upon its release.
