The makers of upcoming Nani starrer Saripodhaa Sanivaaram released a special glimpse video on Saturday, on the occasion of SJ Suryah's birthday. The makers also interestingly promoted it as a 'not a teaser’ video.
The new 'not a teaser’ glimpse focuses primarily on SJ Suryah's character who plays an evil cop figure in the film and is feared among the residents of his locality for his violent and oppressive tendencies. He is also described as a Narakasur-like figure, in the voiceover by Nani, whose destruction is necessary to restore balance in the universe. The video ends with Nani saying 'Happy Birthday, Sir.’
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is directed by Vivek Athreya who previously helmed Nani's Ante Sundaraniki. The film also marks Priyanka Mohan's second collaboration with Nani after Gang Leader. Karthika Srinivas R and Murali G are the editor and cinematographer of the film, respectively. Jakes Bejoy is the music director for the film. The makers of the film released their second single 'Ullaasam’ exactly a week ago.
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, backed by DVV Entertainment, is slated for a theatrical release on August 29.
