The Ajay Ghosh-Chandini Chowdary starrer Music Shop Murthy, which had a theatrical release in June, is now available for streaming. The slice-of-life drama, directed by debutant Siva Paladugu, is streaming on both Amazon Prime Video and ETV Win.
Music Shop Murthy primarily tells the story of a middle-aged music shop owner (Ajay Ghosh) who decides to pursue his ambitions of becoming a famous DJ. He finds help realising his dreams from another aspirant DJ professional (Chandini). In our review for the film, we had noted, “On one level, Music Shop Murthy can also be read as the story of two dreamers who might differ in their temperament but remain united in their ability to persevere against all odds.”
The film also features Amit Sharma, Amani, Bhanu Chandar, and Dayanandh Reddy in the supporting cast. Pawan is the music director for the film. Sreenivas Bejugam is the cinematographer and Bonthala Nageswara Reddy is the editor. Music Shop Murthy was produced by Harsha Garapati and Ranga Rao Garapati under the banner of Fly High Cinemas.
