Ram Pothineni, Kavya Thapar bring the house down in Double iSmart’s latest single, ‘Maar Muntha Chod Chinta’

Ram Pothineni’s upcoming film Double iSmart is slated for a theatrical release on August 15. Ahead of their film’s release, the makers released the second single, ‘Maar Muntha Chod Chinta', on Tuesday.

Choreographed by Vijay Polaki, the ‘Maar Muntha Chod Chinta’ song video features the film’s leads, Ram Pothineni and Kavya Thapar, in a hyper-energetic mode, showcasing their dance moves. Kasarla Shyam has penned the lyrics. Rahul Sipligunj & Keerthana Sharma are the main playback singers for the peppy number, while Dhanunjay Seepana is credited as the Alaap vocalist. ‘Maar Muntha Chod Chinta’ is a quintessential party song with a distinctly local flavour, underlined by the use of Hyderabadi slang in the song lyrics.

Double iSmart marks the sixth collaboration between music director Mani Sharma and Puri Jagannadh. The film’s first single, ‘Steppa Maar,’ which was released nearly two weeks ago, has garnered nearly 10 million YouTube hits to date.

The film, which is an official sequel to the 2019 film iSmart Shankar, also stars Sanjay Dutt in a prominent role. Director Puri Jagannadh is also co-producing the film in association with Charmme Kaur under the banner Puri Connects. The cinematography is by Sam K Naidu and Gianni Giannelli. Meanwhile, Kecha and Real Satish are the stunt directors for the action film.
