The Birthday Boy trailer: Celebrations go fatally wrong in this upcoming thriller

The official trailer for The Birthday Boy was released on Wednesday. The upcoming film stars Ravi Krishna, Sameer Malla, and Rajeev Kanakala in prominent roles. 

The story of The Birthday Boy is set in the USA, where a bunch of young college boys come together to celebrate their friend’s birthday. However, the celebrations go haywire, resulting in the accidental death of the birthday boy. After the group of boys and their families overcome the initial shock, it emerges that the death may not be accidental after all. Based on a true story, The Birthday Boy promises to be an engaging thriller.

Newcomer Whisky helms the writing and direction for the film, which also marks the acting debuts of Pramodini Pammi, Mani Vaaka, Raja Ashok Vallamsetty, DK Venkatesh, Sai Arun Pattaparla, and Rahul Chilampalli. Bharat Shri is the producer, bankrolling the film under the banner of Bomma Barusa Productions.

Prashanth Srinivas is the music director for the film. Naresh Adupa and Sankirth Raahul helm the editing and cinematography, respectively. AR Vamsi G is the production designer for the film, which largely unfolds within the confines of a spacious house. 

The Birthday Boy is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 19, clashing against films like Darling and Pekamedalu.
