Popular Youtuber Praneeth Hanumanthu recently drew flak on social media for his derogatory and insensitive comments about a father-daughter video during a livestream session on his channel. On Sunday, the police registered a case against Praneeth after many prominent figures, like actor Sai Durgha Tej, posted about the Youtuber's comments on their X page, requesting Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy to take the necessary actions. Now actor Sudheer Babu has reacted to the controversy, also addressing his association with Praneeth.
Praneeth was part of the supporting cast in Sudheer Babu’s latest film, Harom Hara, which was released on June 14. Taking to his X page, Sudheer Babu posted, “I feel so disgusted by the fact we had Praneeth Hanumanthu cast in Harom Hara. Sincere apologies from me and my entire team. We didn't know what a pathetic creature this man is. It wasn't in my knowledge.”
Further expressing his anger about Praneeth’s comments, Sudheer Babu added, “Those things are not even worth our puke, but they should have our attention at this hour. We should make sure these sick minds shouldn't have a platform for the filth they want to spread. This isn't freedom of speech by any means.”
