Its a wrap for Ram Pothineni starrer Double iSmart

Ram Pothineni, who last headlined the Boyapati Srinu directorial Skanda, is now gearing up for his next release, Double iSmart. The makers of the film recently completed their film’s shoot.

Double iSmart is an official sequel to the 2019 film iSmart Shankar, which too starred Ram Pothineni in the lead. Puri Jagannadh, who is the director of Double iSmart, is also co-producing the film in association with Charmme Kaur under the banner Puri Connects.

The sequel also stars Sanjay Dutt and Kavya Thapar in prominent roles. The cinematography is co-helmed by Sam K Naidu and Gianni Giannelli. Meanwhile, Kecha and Real Satish are the stunt directors for the actioner.

Mani Sharma is the music director for the film, and Double iSmart marks the sixth collaboration between Mani and Puri Jagannadh. A few days ago, the Double iSmart makers had unveiled their first single, ‘Steppa Maar', on Tuesday, which has garnered over 8 million Youtube hits so far.

Double iSmart is slated for a theatrical release on August 15.
