
Even as Prabhas fans are busy celebrating the success of Kalki 2898 AD, which released on July 27, there are now reports coming in about the shooting schedule of the actor's upcoming film Salaar 2: Shouryanga Parvam, the much-awaited sequel to Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire which released in December 2023.
According to sources close to the team, the Salaar 2 team is planning to kick off a 15-day shooting schedule on August 10, at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, where a massive standing set for the film has been set up. Reportedly, director Prashanth Neel had already shot nearly 20 percent of part 2 while wrapping up shoot for part 1, and plans to resume the shoot next month with Prabhas.
Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, is produced by Hombale Pictures. Meanwhile, Kalki 2898 AD is all set to surpass on Wednesday the box office collections of Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, which grossed approximately Rs 618 crore worldwide, according to a report by Sacnilk.com.
