Vishwak Sen, who recently played a ferocious gangster in the film Gangs of Godavari, will be seen in a completely different role in his next film, Laila. The makers of the film launched the first look poster at the film's launch ceremony on Wednesday. The ceremony was attended by filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao, producer Venkatesh Satish Kilaru and director Harish Shankar S, among others.

While the first look poster doesn’t completely reveal Vishwak Sen’s face, it’s evident that the actor will be donning a feminine avatar in the film. The film’s production banner, Shine Screens, shared the poster on their X page, adding the caption, “Presenting 'Mass Ka Das'  Vishwak Sen as the gorgeous Laila. Her magical eyes and endearing personality will mesmerise one and all.” The makers also shared that they are planning to release the film on February 14, 2025.

Laila stars Akanksha Sharma in a prominent role. Ram Narayan, who made his filmmaking debut 3 years ago with the film Battala Ramaswami Biopikku, is the film's director. Bollywood composer Tanishk Bagchi, and Ghibran Vaibodha have been roped in to compose music for the film. The cinematography will be helmed by Richard Prasad.
